(ESSEX ON) – At 7:50 am this morning, an OPP officer operating stationary radar observed a vehicle, a 2008 Honda Civic travelling eastbound on Highway 3 near Malden Road at a high rate of speed. Radar indicated the vehicle was travelling at 147 KMH in an 80 KMH zone.
The vehicle was stopped and the driver, Joshua DUGDALE, 19 of Oldcastle was charged with Street Racing under the Highway Traffic Act. He was issued a summons to appear in court on October 5th. His licence was suspended for 7 days and his vehicle was seized for 7 days as well.
