(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On December 11, 2014 at approximately 9:38 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was patrolling Guelph-Eramsosa Township and turned down Side Road 10 North to find a parked vehicle at a dead end. The vehicle began to drive and police stopped the 2013 Ford pickup truck to speak with the male driver. It was suspected that the male had consumed alcohol and a Road Side Screening Test was performed. He registered a fail and was arrested. He was transported to a local OPP Operations Centre for further testing.
The driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days as per statute.
Jonathan FAGE age 42 of Guelph has been charged with Over 80 Mgs contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on January 6, 2015 to answer to the charge.
