(KINGSTON, ON) – The Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region, Kingston Police, Kingston detachment, Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) conducted an investigation that focused on a cocaine and methamphetamine trafficking network in and around the City of Kingston. The United States Drug Enforcement Administration and the United States Border Patrol assisted during the nine month investigation.
Project KENDAL was launched in February 2013. As a result, on December 11, 2013 investigators have charged 15 people and executed 7 search warrants in Kingston, Gananoque and Trenton.
The investigation revealed that large amounts of Canadian funds were being transferred to Mexico. Police described the drug operation as a difficult investigation due to the issue that one of the properties used was on an island in the St. Lawrence and one of the main suspects spent a large amount of time in Mexico.

During the course of the investigation the following was seized:
· 15 kilograms of cocaine
· 1 kilogram of crystal methamphetamine
· 5 lbs of marijuana
· $40,000.00-cash
