JOINT EFFORT RESULTS IN ARREST OF THREE BREAK AND ENTER SUSPECTS

(THAMES CENTRE, ON)- On Friday December 13, 2013 at 12:03 p.m. members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call from an alert citizen of a suspicious person and vehicle observed on Catherine Street near Shaw Road located in Dorchester, ON.

Numerous officers from the Middlesex County OPP, Middlesex OPP Crime Unit, Western Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Middlesex OPP Property Crime Unit arrived on scene and located a break and enter in progress. Three parties were placed under arrest at the scene and transported to the London OPP detachment.

As a result of an investigation police have charged three adults identified as Stephen DIBSDALE, age 45, Allyssa MONK, age 31and Nicholas JOHNSTONE, age 24 all of London, ON with:

Break, Enter a dwelling house with intent to commit indictable offence as per Section 348(1)(a) of the Criminal Code (CC)
Break, Enter dwelling house – commit indictable offence 348(1)(b) CC
Attempt to Commit Indictable Offence 463(a) CC
Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada 354(1)(a) CC
Possession Break In Instruments 351(1) CC

All three parties have been scheduled to appear in a London court room at a later date to speak to the charges.
