(South Stormont) – On 14Dec13, at approximately 3:00pm, SD&G OPP officers were conducting a Reduce Impaired Drivers Everywhere (RIDE) spot check on Highway 138, South Stormont Township. Officers checked a vehicle and found that the 51yr old male driver (David WHEELER of South Stormont) was operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
He was arrested and faces charges of:
– Driving While Ability Impaired
– Driving with More than 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in Blood
He is scheduled to appear 14Jan14 in Cornwall court.
