(Embrun, ON) On February 5, 2014 OPP Constables responded to a traffic complaint on Notre-Dame Street in Embrun. At that location a witness reported following a vehicle that was travelling all over the road. The vehicle was stopped on that same road by the OPP. The officer spoke to driver and noticed some signs of impairment. The driver provided a breath sample on the Road Side Screening Device. He registered a “FAILâ€Â.
The driver was transported to the OPP station where he provided more breath samples into the Intoxilyzer. The test results exceeded the legal amount permitted.
John KACZMAREK, 62 years old from Embrun will have to appear in L’Orignal court on February 19, 2014 to answer to the following charges:
CC 253(1)(a) Driving While Ability Impaired
CC 253(1)(b) Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood
