John COULTER – Drunk Driving

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On July 1, 2016, at approximately 9:10 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Highway Safety Division (HSD) observed a motor vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Highway 401 eastbound, near Putnam Road.

A traffic stop of the grey Mazda sport utility vehicle (SUV) was conducted. Officers determined that the 41-year-old male driver had been drinking alcohol. He was arrested, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath testing.

As a result of the police investigation, John COULTER, from Toronto, Ontario, has been charged with driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the criminal Code of Canada.

The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charge in a London court on September 12, 2016.
