(EAST GARAFRAXA, ON) – On Friday April 17, 2015 a3:27 pm Dufferin OPP were conducting speed enforcement of the Erin-East Garafraxa Town line at the 16th Line in East Garafraxa. An Eastbound Silver KIA SUV was observed travelling at a high rate of speed. The radar was activated and the vehicle was clocked at 136 km in a posted 80 km per hour zone.
A traffic stop was initiated and female driver was charged with Racing contrary to section 172(1) of Highway Traffic Act.
Johanna McGee, 42 years of age of Erin, Ontario had her vehicle and driver’s license impounded for 7 days.
She will appear in Orangeville Court at a later date to answer to the charge.
