(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On December 1, 2012 at approximately 3:00am, County of Wellington OPP stopped a suspicious vehicle on Wellington Road 39 in Guelph-Eramosa Township. As the officer investigated the occupants of the 1999 Taurus, he detected the odour of burnt marijuana coming from the interior of the vehicle. The male passenger surrendered a small amount of marijuana to police. Further investigation revealed the passenger was in breach of a Probation Order.
Jeremy Price, age 19 of Wingham is facing charges of Possession of Marijuana, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and Breach of Probation, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on January 25, 2013 to answer to the charges.
