Jeff DIZON – Drunk Driving

(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) – On November 29, 2015 at approximately 1:46 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) investigated the driver of a 2010 Mazda that entered into a RIDE check point on Highway 6 in the City of Guelph. While speaking with the driver, police detected the odour of alcohol on his breath. A Roadside Screening Device test was conducted which resulted in a fail. The driver was transported to an OPP Operation Centre for further testing.

The driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days as per statute.

34-year-old Jeff DIZON of Guelph has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on January 5, 2016 to answer to the charge.
