(Prince Edward County, ON)â€â€On November 29, 2013 at 10:13pm officers from the Ontario Provincial Policeâ€â€Prince Edward County detachment were conducting a R.I.D.E. check on Loyalist Parkway and County Road 27 in the Ward of Hillier.
A vehicle was stopped and the male driver had been consuming alcohol. 41-year old Jason WIEBE of Etobicoke, Ontario was arrested. The accused is charged with Operating While Impaired, contrary to Section 253(1)(a) and Operation With Over 80 mgs. of Alcohol, contrary to Section 253 (1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody on a promise to appear with a court date of December 18, 2013 in Picton, ON.
