(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to attend a vehicle in a ditch on Powerline Road at approximately 7:45 p.m. on 26 September 2015.
Police attended and found a male attempting to get his vehicle out of the ditch. Police determined the driver had been drinking alcohol.. The male driver provided a breath sample in the roadside screening device which was over the legal limit of alcohol.
County of Brant OPP have charged 27 year old Jason POULTON of the city of Brantford with Care and Control with more than 80 mgs of Alcohol in Blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date to answer to the charge.
