(TOWN OF PENETANGUISHENE, ON) – On Saturday January 30, 2016 at 7:24 a.m. members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call of a shoplifter at a retail business in Penetanguishene, ON
Officers located the male suspect a short distance from the store and he was arrested. The male identified as Jason Martin ZEMITIS (age 36) of Angus On, has been charged with:
Theft under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
Two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
Breach of Recognizance contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
The accused is held for a bail hearing February 3, 2016.
