(Pembroke, Ontario) – On Thursday the 3rd of October 2013 officers from the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), Canine Unit (K9) and members of the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP Detachment, executed a search warrant at a residence on Pinehurst Estates in the Town of Petawawa.
As a result 26 year old Jason Dubreuil of Petawawa has been arrested and charged with:
5 counts of Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order
Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
4 counts of Breach of Firearms Regulation
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
3 counts of Unauthorized Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Weapon
2 counts of Possession of a Firearm knowing Serial Number has been Tampered With
Possession of a Weapon
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine,
Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of Trafficking- under 3 kg
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking- Other Drugs
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
Dubreuil was held for a bail hearing on the 3rd of October.
