(HALIBURTON, ON) – The Haliburton Highlands Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged a man in relation to a report of several youths being threatened with a knife.
On August 22, 2015 at approximately 4:00pm the Haliburton Highlands OPP received a report of a male threatening several youths with a knife on Golf Course Road in Minden Hills Township. Officers located and arrested a male party in relation to the complaint near the scene without further incident. The male was found to be in possession of a pocket knife.
Jamie HOWARD-CLARKE, 21 years old of Minden, has been charged with:
· Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
· Uttering Threats to Cause Death or bodily harm
· Two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order
He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on August 24, 2015.
