(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) -Members of the County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were alerted to a vehicle on German School Road in the County of Brant on 19 March 2017 at approximately 1:55 a.m.
The 2006 Toyota Tacoma was stopped by police and the 44-year-old driver Jamie GOSSE of the city of Brantford was arrested and charged with refusing to provide a breath sample contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date to answer to his charges. If convicted, the offender will be subject to the Criminal Code penalties, including a fine or jail time, and a driving prohibition.
He was also charged with assault police contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada after an altercation with police.
