James VULDERS Arrested In Vanastra

(HURON EAST, ON) – A 53-year-old from Seaforth will have to attend court later this month to answer to Impaired Care & Control and Over 80 charges that he is facing.

Around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 29th, 2017 Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to patrol for a suspected impaired driver that had left a residence in Seaforth.

Officers immediately started patrolling for the suspect vehicle, a white Ford F-150, and approximately 50 minutes later officers located the suspect vehicle parked in Vanastra on Victoria Boulevard. The driver was occupying the driver’s seat with the keys in the ignition.

While speaking with the driver the investigating officer observed several signs that led him to believe the driver was impaired by alcohol. The driver was placed under arrest for Impaired Care & Control and was taken to the Exeter OPP Detachment for breath tests. Both of his samples registered over the legal limit.

As a result, James VULDERS, 53 years of age from Huron East has been charged with Impaired Care & Control and Care & Control Over 80 Milligrams. He was later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for August 21, 2017 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich. He also received an automatic 90-day driver’s licence suspension and his motor vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
