(HOWICK, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers including members from the Huron OPP Street Crimes Unit are currently investigating a break, enter and theft from a storage unit that occurred late last week.
Sometime between 6:00 p.m. on July 27th and 5:45 a.m. on July 28th suspect(s) attended to the Donegan’s Haulage gravel pit located on C Line Road in Howick Township. They accessed onto the property by cutting the chain at the roadway; once on the property they forced entry into a storage trailer and stole several hand tools.
Some of the stolen items included: Tool boxes, socket sets, wrenches, screw drivers, grease gun and other hand tools. The total value of the stolen items is estimated at $2,000.
