James GRANT BISCHOFF – Drunk Driving

(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) – On January 11, 2015 at approximately 1:20 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) were conducting R.I.D.E. spot checks on Highway 6 at College Avenue in the City of Guelph. Officers observed a 2003 Hyundai weaving as it approached the checkpoint. Police spoke with the male driver who displayed obvious signs of impairment. He was arrested and transported to a local OPP Operations Centre for further testing.

The driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days as per statute.

James GRANT BISCHOFF age 30 of Oakville has been charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on February 3, 2015 to answer to the charges.
