Jade WESTON – Drunk Driving

(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – On April 11, 2015 an officer from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a vehicle stop on Highway 35 near River Road which resulted in the driver being arrested and charged with two offences.

During the vehicle stop the officer determined that the driver had been consuming alcohol and subsequently conducted a roadside test. As a result of the investigation the driver, Jade WESTON, 20 years of age, of Nestleton, faces charges of driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in 100mL of blood contrary to the Criminal Code and driving while suspended, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.

The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on May 14, 2015.
