During the afternoon of Friday November 8, a traffic complaint was received regarding a vehicle swerving all over the road, travelling southbound on Highway 72. Officers quickly located the vehicle, and upon speaking to the driver, he was found to be under the influence of alcohol. The subsequent investigation also revealed that the driver also had nearly 3 times the legal limit of alcohol in their system. Charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with over the legal limit of alcohol is 58 year old Jack GULKA of Sioux Lookout. GULKA was later released from custody and will appear in Sioux Lookout court on December 10, 2013.
