On November 8th at approx. 8 p.m. officers responded to a Domestic Dispute on Marlborough Street in Blenheim. It is alleged that the male aggressor during a heated argument cut the phone lines to prevent the victim from calling police, cut the legs off a pair of the victims jeans, threw the victim’s box spring mattress out the door, and then choked the victim. There were no injuries requiring medical attention. A 43 year old Blenheim man was arrested and is currently in custody facing several charges. He will appear in court on Saturday.
