Currently North Huron is made up of three wards, Wingham, Blyth and East-Wawanosh. All decisions for North Huron are made in Wingham, normally with zero input or communication with Blyth & E-W.
It is no secret that Blyth and East-Wawanosh despise Wingham. This was painfully evident at the All Candidates Meeting in Blyth when Winghamites were scolded by Blyth residents for showing up. Off the record, virtually every councillor is in favor of de-amalgamation, yet will not mention this in a Public forum as it is taboo, much like Wingham policing costs.
