Intoxicated Peeping Tom Facing Drug Charges And Owen Sound Court Date

(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On February 21, 2016 at approximately 6:14 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a suspicious person after the unknown male was found looking into a bedroom window of a residence on Inkerman Street in the village of Eugenia, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.

Police attended the area and located the suspect, who appeared to be intoxicated, standing in the middle of the street. The male was arrested and transported to the Chatsworth OPP Detachment. The suspect was found to be in possession of a narcotic for which he did not have a prescription. He was later released on a Promise to Appear in Court, scheduled for March 31, 2016 in Owen Sound.

65-year old David NEWMAN of Oakville, Ontario was charged possession of a schedule I substance – other drugs under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) and issued a Part III Summons for being intoxicated in a public place under the Liquor Licence Act (LLA).
