On February 23, 2016 at 12:26 p.m., Centennial High school and College Heights were both put into hold and secure. This was in response to the report by students that had been near the arena that a male known to them, approached and pulled a knife. The male then left on foot. Police conducted a search of the area and determined that the male was no longer on the properties. The hold and secure was lifted at 1:25 p.m. The male responsible was located by police at 1:45 p.m. No one was injured in the incident.
