On December 13, 2013 at 9:32 pm, the Barrie Police Service received several calls regarding a male lying on the sidewalk with no coat or shoes on. Officers arrived and located the male. They quickly discovered the 42 year old Barrie resident was intoxicated.
The male was subsequently arrested for being intoxicated in public place for his own safety. He transported to the Barrie Police Service and held in the cells until sober.
