Barrie Police were called to attend a location on Collier Street regarding a very drunk male who was not welcome at that location. The 37 year old man of no fixed address was on scene and was extremely intoxicated. He was not able to walk on his own and his speech was slurred. There was no one else that he knew of that would be able to look after him. He was arrested for his own safety and transported into the police station to remain until sober. He will be required to pay a Provincial offences fine.
