(BLANDFORD BLENHEIM TOWNSHIP, ON) -Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a snowmobile collision at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Friday March 7, 2014 involving two females.
The snowmobile was being operated on a groomed Ontario Federation Snowmobile Trail near Township road 4 and Oxford Road 3 in Blandford Blenheim Township, when the 11 year old driver lost control and struck a fence.
As a result of the collision the driver has serious but non-life threatening injuries and the passenger has a minor injury.
The driver was transported by air ambulance to a hospital in Hamilton and the passenger was transported by Oxford County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to a local hospital.
Police, Blandford Blenheim Fire department and EMS all responded to assist at this collision.
