On July 25, 2014, Waterloo Regional Police Detectives assisted the University of Waterloo Police Service regarding an incident that occurred on the main campus of the University of Waterloo. As a result of the investigation, a 21 year Waterloo resident has been charged with voyeurism. The man is alleged to have used a mobile phone to take voyeuristic photographs of a female. As the time of the incident, the female was in a public place on the University campus and was not aware of the accused’s activities. There was no contact between the female and the accused and no allegations of any assault or physical contact.
