IMPAIRED MOTORCYCLIST CHARGED

(COLLINGWOOD, ONTARIO) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) recently charged a male motorcyclist for impaired driving as a result of a traffic complaint.

On Friday the 26th of September 2014 shortly before 11:00pm, the OPP received a traffic complaint on about a possible impaired motorcyclist west bound on Beachwood Road in Collingwood. Police located the said motorcycle and proceeded to conduct a vehicle stop where it was found that the operator was under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and transported to Collingwood detachment for processing.

Charged is 61 year-old Victor LLEWELLYN of Meaford, he is facing charges of driving a motor vehicle while ability impaired by alcohol and driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood. He is to appear in Collingwood court on the 14th of October 2014.
