Impaired Driver John FEENSRAKUIPER Drove Himself To Police Station

(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON) – A male driver has been arrested and charged after he drove himself to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment on Exeter Road, in the City of London, Ontario.

On October 17, 2014 at approximately 00:25 a.m., a 63 year old male from Middlesex Centre, Ontario, drove a van into the parking lot of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment.

He was attending the police station with the intention of filing a report about a separate incident.

The male was observed exiting the vehicle’s driver’s seat and exhibited signs of impairment. An OPP Highway Safety Division (HSD) Traffic Sergeant arrested the male.

The male was escorted to the OPP detachment for breath testing which revealed he had consumed more than the legal limit of alcohol.

John FEENSRAKUIPER has been charged with care and control while impaired (alcohol or drug), and care or control over 80 mgs, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused was released by way of a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear in a London court on December 2, 2014, to answer to the charges.
