(SARNIA, ON) On October 30, 2013, at around 11:00 p.m., Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Lambton County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a 3 vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 40 and Plank Road.
Investigation determined that a Jeep travelling south on Highway 40 collided with a Hyundai that was travelling north on Highway 40. Both of those vehicles then collided with a Toyota that was travelling west on Plank Road.
The driver of the Toyota, a 27 year old Chatham male was not injured. The driver of the Hyundai, 44 year old Rodney CROTEAU from St. Clair Township was transported to Bluewater Health where he was treated and released.
The driver of the Jeep, 44 year old Christine STOREY from St. Clair Township, was treated for minor injuries at the scene. While police were speaking with her it was determined that she had been consuming alcoholic beverages. Subsequent tests indicated that she was over the legal limit.
She will appear in a Sarnia court on November 18, 2013 to answer to the charges of Impaired Driving, Being Over the Legal Limit and Careless Driving.
