(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Monday March 10, 2014, shortly before 9 p.m., Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were dispatched to a collision at the round-about on Hwy 7 at Perth Line 9 (Wildwood Park entrance).
Investigation indicated that a KIA Sorento SUV had been travelling south bound on Hwy 7. The vehicle crossed the traffic island north of the round-about, crossed the ring road and the centre island before it came to rest on the south portion of the ring road. A small tree in the centre island was taken out and the vehicle was totalled. The 57 year old male driver from Forest Ontario did not sustain injuries as a result of the collision. The driver has been charged with “careless drivingâ€Â.
