(ST.MARYS, ON) Perth County OPP officers in St.Marys received a call from a Thomas St. resident on Monday October 04, 2010 advising that his residence had been entered and numerous items had been stolen.
Police investigation revealed that sometime between 2 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. on Monday October 4th, unknown persons entered the Thomas St. home through an unlocked patio door and stole items from the dining room and kitchen which were located in full view. A Toshiba Satellite L450 laptop was removed from the dining room table while a Western Digital compact 500 gig hard drive was also taken from the dinning room. An older model wooden clock and some cash in an orange vinyl briefcase were removed from the kitchen.
The home may have been accessed from the river bank and Park St.
The Perth County OPP is requesting anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the Thomas and Park St. area during the time in question to contact them. Anyone with information about this theft or who knows the whereabouts of the stolen property is also requested to contact the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
