(LAIRD TOWNSHIP, ON) – At approximately 5:00 am on June 3, 2015 Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a 911 call regarding the theft of an ATV from a residence in the 900 block of Bar River Road East.
A homeowner was woken up to observe his ATV being driven off his property by a male with a female passenger. Shortly after, the homeowner located his ATV with the two suspects. The suspects were then apprehended by police.
A 22 year old female and a 25 year old male from Alberta have been arrested and are in police custody.
The investigation is continuing.
