Homeowner Hits Male In Face When Confronted About Money Owed

(CALEDON, ON) – On December 1st, 2014 officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed that a male had attended a Hayleyvale Road residence to collect money for completed work. During the male’s interaction with the home-owner, the home-owner grabbed the male by the sweater and struck him in the face, causing a large scar. The victim left the residence and contacted police.

The victim did not require medical attention for his injury.

In conclusion, Inderjeet SIWIA, 30, from Brampton was arrested and charged with Assault.

He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on January 2nd, 2015 to answer to the charge.
