Home Invasions In North Huron – Hometown Security Act Prevents Taxpayers From Securing Homes & Property

At last night’s council meeting councillors claimed that crime has soared in the last 6 months, and that the OPP have been covering this up via media blackout. Among the claims of council are of home invasions that the OPP ignore for days, if true taxpayer’s lives are at severe risk.

Many of you remember, or have been victims of, North Huron’s Hometown Security Act which prevents taxpayers from making their homes secure. If you put up cameras, gate your laneway, bar your windows or even have a secure door, you can be subject to town staff searches and harassment for being suspected of being “up to this and that”. Simple put, your home must be able to be easily broken into by home invaders, rapists, pedophiles and town staff.
