Home Invasion – Suspects At Large

Crime Stoppers of Simcoe-Dufferin-Muskoka along with the Bracebridge Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are requesting the assistance of the public in solving this crime.

On Friday August 9th, 2013, just after midnight, three male suspects gained entry into a residential address on Hotchkiss Street in the Town of Gravenhurst. Once inside, the suspects woke up the victim who was sleeping at the time and proceeded to rough him up. One of the suspects was brandishing a large kitchen knife.

The suspects stole a long list of items including: cash, coins, prescription medications, a 40” Samsung TV, 2 laptop computers, and several guitars including a replica 1952 Fender Telecaster, a 1984 Fender Stratacaster and a Washburn base guitar.

Suspect #1 is described as a white male, mid 30’s, 6’ tall with a stocky build wearing eye glasses and a whit-shirt.

Suspect #2 is a white male, mid 20’s, tall with a skinny build and curly brown hair, wearing black t-shirt and jeans.

Suspect #3 is a white male, mid-late 30’s with short dark hair and an earring in one of his ears.

The suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction.
