(Pembroke, Ontario) – The Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the OPP is currently investigating a break enter and robbery with violence that was reported on November 16th at approximately 10:00 pm. The victim answered the door, and an unknown male forced his way into the residence and assaulted the elderly female resident. The victim was transported to hospital. Members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment as well as the Upper Ottawa Valley Crime Unit, ERT, K9 and Identification Unit attended the scene to investigate. The investigation is continuing. Detective Dave Schilling is the investigating officer.
