(MATTAWA, ON) – The Mattawa Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a home invasion that occurred on February 13, 2016, at approximately 3 a.m., on Chenier Road, Papineau-Cameron Township.
Two males in disguises entered a residence by forcing their way through the front door. The suspects assaulted two of the three occupants in the residence and then fled the scene. Two of the occupants received minor injuries.
A description of the suspect’s vehicle was provided to police by complainant. A short time later the vehicle was located and stopped by members of the Mattawa OPP. Two males, 38 and 42, of Mattawa have been arrested and remain in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
