Holy Cross Catholic Elementary School Goes Into Hold and Secure””

(Kemptville, ON.) – Shortly after 11:00 am on this date, Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched to a possible intruder at Holy Cross Catholic Elementary School in Kemptville.

Upon arrival, officers conducted a thorough investigation and determined that an uninvited intruder had not entered the premise. As a cautionary measure Holy Cross School and neighbouring schools went into a “hold and secure”. The “hold and secure” was lifted a short time later once the allegation was unfounded.

The Ontario Provincial Police would like to thank our local schools in the management of the safety of their students.
