On December 15th, 2015 at approximately 4:00 p.m., a hit and run incident took place in the Fairview Park Mall parking lot located at 3050 Kingsway Drive in the City of Kitchener. A older model white Buick was being driven in an erratic manner within the parking lot lanes which surround the immediate exterior of the mall. Several pedestrians narrowly missed getting hit by the vehicle and one car was struck causing minor damage. The lone occupant driver of the white Buick ultimately lost control and crashed into a concrete median, rendering the vehicle disabled. A 28 year old male was arrested for Dangerous Driving and Failing to Stop for Collision. There were no injuries. Police are requesting that any witnesses to this incident contact 519-653-7700 X 4499.
