(THUNDER BAY, ON) On Thursday, January 16 2014 at approximately 2:10 pm, officers from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single vehicle collision on Highway 102 at Strawberry Creek Hill.
An east bound tractor trailer unit lost control on Strawberry Creek Hill and struck a number of guide rails on both lanes of Highway 102.
The driver was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries
The truck is currently blocking the east bound lane on Highway 102.
OPP are requesting drivers to reroute to Highway 11/17 for the time being until Highway 102 is opened completely.
