(SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On Saturday, July 27th, 2013 at approximately 4:10 p.m. a member of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police was monitoring traffic flow on George Johnston Road when a southbound Honda Acura was observed traveling at a speed greater than the posted speed limit: 143 km/h in a posted 80 Km/h zone. This motor vehicle was stopped and the driver was charged appropriately.
Charged with “Drive motor vehicle – Speeding by 50 or more Km/h†under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario is Ali MOSADEQ 29 years old from Richmond Hill, Ontario. First appearance is August 20th, 2013 in Wasaga Beach Provincial Court.
In addition the defendant had his Drivers’ Licence suspend for 7 days and his motor vehicle seized for 7 days.
