(CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) – On December 8 2012 at 2:30am, the County of Wellington Festive RIDE Team was conducting a R.I.D.E. spot check at Highway 6 south and College Ave west, just outside of Guelph. At this time and location, a 2008 Infiniti entered the spot check. As the officer spoke with the driver, he detected a strong odour of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver surrendered a quantity of marijuana to police.
Heng Jeun, age 34 of Guelph has been charged with Possession of Marijuana – under 30 grams, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on January 22, 2013 to answer to the charges.
