(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment have charged a 37 year old male after police were called to Metcalf Street South, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Friday, October 18, 2013, approximately 1:32 p.m., police were called to Metcalf Street South for a report of an assault.
Through investigation it has been determined that two males and a female became involved in a verbal altercation. The verbal altercation then escalated into a physical confrontation at which time police were called.
As a result of the investigation, a 37 year old male was arrested and charged.
Charged with Assault and Cause Disturbance is 37 year old Harold David STEWART of Norfolk County, Ontario.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
