Police investigate fatal collision in Waterloo

Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Traffic Branch continue to investigate a fatal incident in the city of Waterloo involving a pedestrian and a motor vehicle.

On Sunday, October 20, 2013, at approximately 4:30 a.m., police were called to the corner of Hazel Street and Austin Drive where 29 year old Waterloo man, Jordan GILLIS, was struck and killed by a vehicle travelling Southbound on Hazel Street. The driver of the vehicle failed to remain at the scene.
Police are looking for a bright red vehicle with damage to the front bumper and hood. The vehicle is possibly an SUV.
