(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Monday April 28, 2014, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to a residence on William Shakespeare Street in Shakespeare, where packaged hardwood flooring was stolen from a residential garage.
Investigation revealed that sometime between 9 p.m. on Sunday April 27th and 6 a.m. on Monday April 28th, unknown person(s) entered the home’s attached garage by means of an unlocked man-door, and removed seven boxes of engineered “click†style “woodscape†natural oak flooring. The boxes may have been carried some distance before being loaded onto a vehicle.
Anyone with information about this incident, or having observed a suspicious vehicle or persons carrying long heavy boxes during the time of the theft, is requested to contact the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
