(LAKESHORE, ON) On Thursday September 26, 2013 The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Provincial Weapons Enforcement Unit, assisted by the Essex County OPP Crime Unit and OPP Lakeshore patrol officers, executed a warrant at a residence on Cleophas Drive in Lakeshore.
As a result of the search, three registered firearms, a small quantity of ammunition and cocaine, with a street value of $2000, were seized.
The police investigation is continuing.
A 27 year old man from Lakeshore has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. He is scheduled to appear in a Windsor court on October 28, 2013.
