Good Samaritans Stop Assault In Progress

On November 10, 2016 at 11:50 a.m., Guelph Police went to a Baker Street building for the report of an assault. A man that is known to the male victim entered the building and began yelling. He then spit in the victim’s face and punched him before other people intervened. Police arrested the man without incident.

The 32-year-old Guelph man has been charged with assault and two counts of breach of probation. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
